Pixalere™ is a web-based, wireless application that assists healthcare providers in the treatment and management of patients in a homecare setting. Home Care Nurses are equipped with an easy to use handheld device that enables them to instantly update the patients condition complete with colour photos and wound assessment data. A physician or clinician can then access the record in a secure manner via the Internet from anywhere in the world and prescribe treatment while the nurse is still at the patients bedside. The database also allows the hospital or regional centre to generate comprehensive reporting on product usage and standards.
