We have been providing data, graphical and computational services to resource based industries for the last 20 years.
In the early/mid 1980's we metricated the old underground workings in Kalgoorlie prior to the superpit. The workings were modelled in 3D and geology captured with attributes of strike/dip thus enabling true metric sections to be produced throughout the golden mile.
In the1990's we captured the surface exploration geology throughout the Hamersley Ranges and provided both GIS output and structural data for mine planning systems.
In more recent times : Collating/merging data sets for exploration activities in the north of W.A. Capturing geology in 3D for various mine sites from existing mapping to provide intelligent attributed data for inclusion in modelling/design/targeting using site mine planning software. Current techniques for geology capture include using digital photographs and tablet PC's.
