Autotask(TM) Customers Adopt AutotaskExtend(TM) Technology at Rapid Pace IT Service Providers Create More Than 400 New Integrations in First 60 Days of Availability to Improve Workflow and Customer Service
RENSSELAER, NY - September, 28, 2006 -- Autotask Corporation, a provider of web-based business management software for IT service providers, announced new innovations with its new integration technology called AutotaskExtend(TM). Within the first 60 days of launch to its customers, more than 400 different integrations with name brand applications, mainstream web-sites, proprietary systems and company Intranet's were created. Customer feedback indicates the integrations are improving workflow, saving time and allowing Autotask users to improve their customer service.

Many of the AutotaskExtend integrations involve the creation of Autotask LiveLinks(TM), which give the Autotask user a single-click process for automatically launching other web-sites and software applications, and automatically passing context-sensitive Autotask data to the integrated site.
For example, customers working within Autotask have easily installed their own menu-options to access their network monitoring software, placed a phone call with Skype(TM), and retrieved product pricing using CNET's ChannelOnline(TM). In addition, users have created LiveLinks to their own Intranets and home-grown applications -- all with the click of a button, saving valuable time and increasing staff's productivity.
In addition to the LiveLinks integrations, solution providers have also been using the APIs included in AutotaskExtend to access their Autotask data from other applications and web-sites, and to create short cuts for entering data into Autotask.
