Epicor Garners Software Company of the Year Honors Two Years in a Row Software Council of Southern California Presents Epicor With Top Company Award in Its Twelfth Annual Software Industry Awards
IRVINE, CA - March 9, 2006 -- Epicor Software Corporation, a leading provider of integrated enterprise software solutions for the midmarket, today announced it has been named Software Company of the Year for the second year in a row by the Software Council of Southern California.
The award was presented to Epicor last night at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles during the Council's 2006 Software Industry Awards gala honoring individuals and companies that have made outstanding contributions to the industry. Epicor took top honors over two other finalists in the category, Quest Software and Telelogic North America, Inc. Mark Duffell, president and chief operating officer for Epicor, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
The Software Company of the Year award is presented to the software company headquartered in California that has been in operation more than three years and receives the highest aggregate ratings in sales/revenue growth, team building, product innovation, positive effect on the technology industry within Southern California, and involvement in industry trade organizations, legislative activities pertinent to the software industry, and other civic and community organizations.
