Rexnord's Success Leads to Additional Multi-Million-Dollar Contract With Cincom

MILWAUKEE, WI - March 1, 2006 -- Rexnord has signed a new multi-million-dollar, six-year outsourcing agreement with Cincom Systems, after Cincom successfully handled Rexnord's first venture in IT outsourcing. Cincom will maintain and oversee Falk Corporation's data center operations, which Rexnord acquired in May 2005.
 
"Cincom has once again managed a very complex migration process. Cincom was able to accomplish the data center implementation in less than 90 days, providing Rexnord with significant cost savings," said Chris Jurasek, Rexnord's Vice-President, Customer Service, Logistics and Information Technology. "This is a continuation of our outsourcing strategy established two years ago, to leverage Cincom services for hosting." Cincom's data center includes multiple mainframes, hundreds of servers and several terabytes of direct access storage with near real-time disaster recovery capability.

In October 2003, Rexnord decided to outsource IT operations, network support and hardware, including full disaster recovery and business continuity, to Cincom, which has been providing Rexnord with systems software for the past 30 years. Since the account went live in March 2004, Cincom has met or exceeded all service-level agreements.
