In addition to creating a digital copy, Scanalizer employs patent-pending Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) technology that pulls important information from receipts and business cards and puts it into easy-to-read spreadsheets. Business Card Scanning

In addition to providing the only available full-function receipt scanning, as well as PDF creation for full-size 8 1/2 x 11" documents, Scanalizer adds comprehensive business card scanning to its repertoire. Scanalizer's new business card scanning feature simultaneously updates contacts in Microsoft Outlook's address book in real-time, saving users the trouble of updating contact information manually. Additionally, contact data can also be exported as a v-card to virtually any handheld device or third- party organizational software program. Within the NeatReceipts contact manager, users can also attach notes, documents and even images to any contact.

Additional New Features

With state-of-the-art scanning technology and digital imaging expertise, Scanalizer boasts improved OCR, making it 10% more accurate than the previous version of the product. The transition from a file folder system to a SQL database means faster scan times, improved reporting and new advanced search capabilities. Scanalizer's software also has the capacity to hold almost 700,000 documents without taking up extra memory space.
