SMS messaging incorporated into iQmetrix solution

January 1, 2000 - iQmetrix has incorporated SMS (short messaging service to wireless devices) into its intelligent eBusiness solution. SMS allows the transmission of short text messages from an iQmetrix module directly to the display of an SMS enabled wireless phone. Notification of individuals or groups through the iQmetrix eBusiness solution can now be done through SMS. Contacts are easily notified of important tasks, messages, meetings, customer follow-ups, service calls and more by a short text message displayed on their wireless phone. Together with the IQplanner and IQcontact modules, this SMS solution can provide an eBusiness with dispatch capabilities. The use of this SMS technology offers an eBusiness lower wireless phone costs, and reliable, immediate and less obtrusive notification for employees who depend on their wireless phone.
