3am Labs Helps Commuters Ride Out Fuel Crisis, Offers Incentives on Remote Access
LogMeIn Free Enables Access to Business Computers from Home, LogMeIn Pro Offers Advanced Tools for Complete At-Home Solution

WOBURN, MA - September 14, 2005 -- 3am Labs, the world's leading provider of remote access and administration services, today offered the nation's employers a viable way to allow workers to stay at home at least once a week and save gas. 3am Labs already offers a growing number of telecommuting and mobile workers LogMeIn, a free service that provides fast, secure and easy access to their PCs using any computer or a PDA with a high-speed Internet connection.

To aid commuters and incentivize their employers during the fuel crisis, 3am Labs offers a free trial of LogMeIn Pro, which adds file transfer, folder synchronization, remote-to-local printing, collaboration, inbound support and large file sharing. Commuters can take advantage of this offer at www.LogMeIn.com/telework/.

"With winter heating season coming, the demand for oil is expected to remain strong, keeping gas prices at or near historic highs," said Michael Simon, CEO, 3am Labs. "Employers may want to make commuting more manageable for some of their employees, and we offer a product that can help do that easily and cost-effectively."

"Americans can save a quarter billion gallons of gas per week by working from home just one day a week," said Chuck Wilsker, president and CEO of the non-profit Telework Coalition (www.telcoa.org), an organization that promotes awareness and adoption of existing and emerging distributed work services and technologies. "LogMeIn is a great example of an enabling technology that makes teleworking productive, secure and reliable."

According to the US Department of Transportation, most of the 127.3 million adult US residents who are employed commute an average of 30 miles each day*. At $3.00 per gallon or more**, the American workforce could save more than $700 million each week by staying home just one day.

Making Telework Manageable for Employers

For telecommuting to be worthwhile for everyone, employers need to easily manage remote access to their network. 3am Labs offers LogMeIn Scout, a free remote access discovery and management tool that gives system administrators the ability to detect instances of LogMeIn and other remote access software, on corporate systems. LogMeIn Scout also allows system administrators to create policy-driven security and usage policies for LogMeIn and LogMeIn Pro and to remotely deploy the LogMeIn products across their network with security policies enabled.

About LogMeIn Security

LogMeIn was created to simplify the system administrator's task when providing remote access to internal resources. The LogMeIn software on the customer's remote computer maintains a constant SSL-secured connection with one of the LogMeIn Gateway servers in a physically secure data center. This ensures the highest level of security, and it makes the products easier for customers to use because there is no need to reconfigure firewalls. Because the data is encrypted, both coming into the Gateway and exiting, the privacy of the data is also protected.

About 3am Labs

3am Labs develops and markets LogMeIn, the world's most popular remote access service with more than one million registered users. The LogMeIn family includes LogMeIn, LogMeIn Pro, LogMeIn Rescue, LogMeIn IT Reach and LogMeIn Scout. These, along with the company's RemotelyAnywhere product, provide secure remote access support and administration to mobile professionals, helpdesk and system administrators. 3am Labs is based in Woburn, Mass., with development facilities in Budapest, Hungary.
