Verian Technologies Named to Top 100 List Four out of Five Years
 
Charlotte, NC — July 18, 2005 — Since beginning the list in 2001, Supply & Demand Chain Executive continues the tradition of providing its readers with information about organizations that are leading the way in providing solutions and services for enabling supply chain transformation. Verian Technologies has been named to this list once again — for the fourth time in five years. The goal of this year’s Top 100 list was to highlight a broad range of applications of technology and services to the challenges of supply chain improvement and transformation. Judges sought innovative solutions that represent the supply chain challenges at a variety of companies in different industries.

The 2005 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 provided supply and demand chain initiatives to small, midsize and large companies in a variety of industry sectors. The initiatives use technologies and/or services to address and solve pain points in the supply chain, and the results of the initiatives produce a substantial return on investment. Submissions for the 2005 “100” were evaluated based on the pain point(s) addressed by the initiative (The Challenge), the technologies and services used to address those pain points (The Solution), the results of the initiatives (Return on Investment, or ROI), and plans for taking the project forward (Next Steps).
